**Bootcamp and Tryouts are in August.**

Savannah Jr Roller Derby is proud to now be OPEN DIVISION. This means all youth (male/female/non-binary) ages 10-17 are able to join.

Skater Bootcamp will run August 6th, August 13th, August 20th, and try outs will be August 27th (Tuesdays in August). Arrival time is at 5:15pm (please arrive on time), and pick up time is promptly at 7:30pm. Mark your calendars now to come meet our derby family. Come take the first step to starting something GREAT!

*There is no minimum skill requirement but to be best prepared for camp, we do require that skaters be able to skate forward without assistance for at least one lap of a standard skating rink before the first day of camp.
*On the final day of tryouts skaters must be able to pass testing to join the team.

*Skaters will need to bring a water bottle, mouth guard and wear comfy clothes. These items are REQUIRED to participate.

We will have a limited amount of safety gear (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards) for skaters to wear during bootcamp. They will need to purchase personal gear after tryouts.

Be sure to hit up Star Castle at 550 Mall Blvd in Savannah to test out your skate legs and get ready for bootcamp!
