 The Derby Devils Welcome 29 New Skaters!
Roller Girl Boot Camp 2010 was held June 6 to 10th and we had a record 95 women register... what a week!
In the few weeks between RGBC & Tryouts, many of these women decided they wanted to be a Devil and worked their butts off learning the roller derby basics required to make the team.
On Tuesday, June 29, the Savannah Derby Devils got a lot more powerful... TWENTY-NINE new skaters are now prepping for their first Fresh Meat Scrimmage!

Savannah's roller girls were back home in May as they battled the Upstate Roller Girl Evolution of Greenville, SC in the Devils' second home bout of the year.
Both teams played a great game and Savannah came out ahead. There will be a re-match in Greenville on August 21st!
We offered a free shuttle service from Grayson Stadium to help with our limited parking at Supergoose. It will be available again for our fall bouts.

We had another record crowd at Supergoose on Saturday March 6th, 2010. Thank you to all of our derby fans who came out to cheer us on. Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors & volunteers who helped make the night a success.
We send out huge derby love to the Chattanooga Roller Girls who traveled all the way from Tennessee! Ladies, you rock & as it was pointed out at the after party during the most memorable karaoke performance to date, we too "had the time of our lives..."

More than half of all people who have ever been sexually active will test positive for HPV or genital worts at some point in their lives. Some strains of HPV are almost always the cause of cervical cancer.
Don't let it happen to you! We know where women can get free vaccine and gyno exams in Savannah.

Valentine's Day Massacre
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Coastal Empire Fairgrounds on Saturday, February 13th, 2010!
The Savannah Derby Devils and friends from surrounding leagues warmed-up for the Spring season with this free scrimmage for our devoted fans.
Congratulations to SDD's Lopez, Sexecutioner Jr, and No Mercy Jersey on their first bout. Much love goes out to Molly Marine who broke her tibia in her first jam but beat most of us to the after-party! To SDD alumni Tsu Legit & Maya Rulz -- always a pleasure!

Devils beat Greenville Derby Dames, 118-94
We packed the house again Nov. 14 over 600 people!
Thanks and much love to the skaters, referrees, jeerleaders and fans that make roller derby such a revolutionary new world for Savannah!
The Devils also send their love to Maya Rulz who is moving to Greenville. Keep raising hell, Maya!!!
